Broomin Sisters is a whimsical, boutique specializing in florals, yarns and gifts.
Cheryl worked for two flower shops in the Cedar Rapids area, attended the American Floral Art School in Chicago, earning her floral design certification and dreamed of having her own garden style boutique and cutting gardens.
A dream come true is how she would describe finding the 1800's cottage, located in Palo, Iowa. "We create something special in this little house," say's Cheryl.
The cutting gardens are home to many heirloom flowers and we will add to the selection every season. Last year the garden was open for events and garden parties.
Kirkwood teaches a variety of classes at Broomin Sisters, from knitting to fun "artsy projects." Schedule is posted online.
We would not have grown without the support of so many friends and loyal customers.

Anytime I want to through a great party, I call Broomin Sisters. The flowers are always above my expectations. Cheryl goes above and beyond to create the perfect arrangement. They are definitely not your typical flowers. I get so many compliments every time!
I discovered the Broomin Sisters "floral experience' a little over a year ago and have used them ever since. My daughter is getting married and we met with Cheryl Sheeley. I realized that Cheryl creates more than an arrangement. She has a rare gift to be able to capture an emotion and express it physically through the art of arrangement.
