Buzz is an absolutely fantastic salon. It's the best combination of big-city cutting edge cool (the stylists make a huge effort to get out of town to NYC or wherever else they can educate themselves on techniques and new cuts and products) and small-town warmth (it totally has the "where everybody knows your name" vibe). I love Buzz because, unlike a lot of other salons where there's only one person you might trust with your hair, ALL of the stylists at Buzz are amazing. I don't call months ahead of time; I just trust that whoever cuts and colors my hair at Buzz (Sorayah, Leah, Ali, whoever) will treat me well and leave me looking and feeling fabulous. These gals and guys are absolutely passionate about what they do, and their dedication and creativity shows in their work.
Buzz is not all it is CRACKED UP TO BE! The stylists do not care what you want, it is only their vision that is important. So if you want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen and pay outlandish prices you are at the right salon! My hair has never been the same since my one and only visit there!
Buzz is undoubtedly the best hair salon in the area. Buzz is a group of enthusiastic, cheerful and competent men an women who are totally dedicated to making you look your best and pampering you in the process. The owner spends an enormous amount of time and money educating herself and her staff by sending them to New York to be constantly trained in the latest styles by Bumble and Bumble, a prestigious product and leader in the industry. In store, the personnel pamper you in every legal way possible, washing your hair and giving you a head massage before your hair is cut, washing it again after the cut to get rid of the clippings (hence your clothes stay intact for the rest of the day), then styling your hair so that by the time you leave, you feel totally relaxed and you are walking about two feet off the ground! In between haircuts, they "clean you up" at no charge and they do all sorts of special things for you from time to time like parafin hand waxes, bringing you beveridges, and just paying the kind of attention to you that everyone cherishes and deserves. They are aware of their competency but are never haughty about their extrordinary talents and capabilities.
When my wife and I have gone out of town, they have even made appointments with stylists in those cities so that my wife could have her hair done for special events! Once, feeling stressed out, I asked if my favorite person would just wash my hair and give me a head massage to bring me back to reality and she spent twenty minutes with me, completely mellowing me out - at no charge. Once you're "in the club' at Buzz, the pleasure is endless. They deserve everyone's vote, as well as their business! Bill Nusser

They are continually learning the newest and latest style techniques from professionals all over the world, so that they can give their clients the newest and freshest styles of today! I swear by them and I swear by Ali! Try them just once and you will be more than impressed. You'll kick yourself for not trying them sooner! Hands down- THE BEST!
