Cafe del Sol Roasting started as a true grassroots, cottage industry responding to the community’s demand for local, fresh, quality food products while protecting the environment and respecting the growers. Roasting for friends in 1988, the founder, Stephen Dunham, started roasting and selling commercially to local organic grocers, restaurants and coffee shops in 1990. In 2006 Vicki Mildenstein joined the ownership team and brought her business experience in real estate sales and event catering to the business. She especially adds enthusiasm and passion for quality food, Fair Trade and Organic principles and a vision for growing the company and communicating its unique value.

The only coffee I buy! Treat every press pot, caraffe, or typical brewed pot of coffee like it's my last. You can taste the knowledge, care , and experience in the complex flavor notes of this coffee. This isn't some smelly Amonia laden,
nautical themed coffee from the Pacific Northwest. This is t he real thing Daddy-o. Real coffee for people who like coffee.

Great coffee, tea, food , pastries. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Large selection of teas and they know how to brew them. Large enough for book clubs and meetings which appear to be welcome. Quiet enough for study and contemplation. Beautiful decor. I highly recommend you check it out!
