Besides the delicious chocolate covered sunflower seeds, the small one dollar book was perfect for writing a short weekend novel. When leaving Iowa or entering the state via Dubuque...the Calico Bean is a 'must' stop.

Great variety, great prices and exceptional staff! I love the orange slices and wasabi soynuts!
PS...bholty is right on the money with the chcolate toffee pretzels!
