Eleven years in the making, Cedar Rapids Performance Company (CRPC) continues to provide excellence in performance; show choir and dance. Students and parents benefit from the experience of its directors. Many volunteers make CRPC successful every year.
Trisha Swartzendruber has developed a wonderful program for kids in a non-competitive environment. That's hard to find in today's world. And, since the kids come from varying communities and school districts, it's a great way to meet peers with whom they may not have ever interacted, and develop new friendships! We LOVE CRPC!!! Trish, Vicki and Reagan are AWESOME! Last year was our first year but we''ll be back again this year - my daughter LOVED it!!! Can't wait! See ya all soon!!
CRPC is wonderful! My two daughters have been in it for 3 years now. It has taught my girls so much besides dancing and singing. Trish and Vicky love what they do and it shows through our kids. We have performances, We have potlucks, We have a bowling night and We have a swimming night. They do more than just sing and dance. THEY HAVE FUN!! Please come and check us out this summer. My son has been with CRPC for 6 years. He has learned so much from the group. Not only has he made hundreds of friends, he has learned about responsibility and commitment while being with the group. Not only does the kids make new friends, so do the parents. CPRC is like 1 big family. We all still keep in touch after it is over for the year. Every year when CRPC ends, he cant wait until next year. I feel he wishes that CRPC was a year round performance company instead of just during the summer. (Sorry Trish) I cant say enough about CRPC. If your child isnt sure about performing, come watch a performance, I know then they will change their mind.
CRPC is a summer program for kids to sing AND dance and perform all summer all over the community. They are a very close knit group, and a positive experience for the kids and families.
