The Class Act is the best kept secret in Cedar Rapids! Were else can you have a great lunch with white linens, real china and silverware in a pleasant environment and attentive service! The students are "learning" but we are always treated special when we dine in the Class Act. The attention to detail is wonderful.
We also enjoy the variety of menu items offered and we can't wait for the new menu each semester. Kirkwood should be very proud of this little gem!

As a culinary student I can really enjoy my lunch while still being able to afford it on a students budget. When you go you have to try the Salmon BLT it's amazing and Chef Melanie never fails to have her students deliver wonderful food and Lee Belfield has his waitstaff provide elegant service.

The Class Act is a full working restaurant run by Kirkwood Community College culinary school students and facuilty. Excellent, homemade food at a fraction of the price because they are learning. They do fabulous events as well including brunches and theme dinners. Bakery available. Just fabulous.
