What makes Jimmy John's different from the rest is that it's honest, it's damn good, it's damn fast, at a decent price! Jimmy John's definition of fresh is worlds apart from everyone else's. Bread is baked in-house everyday and served fresh. Meat and veggies are sliced fresh in-house everyday. The turkey is real turkey, the roast beef is real roast beef – no additives, no vegetable-based fillers, no fake stuff. Nothing is delivered pre-sliced. Real Hellmann's mayo, real Grey Poupon, real olive oil and red wine vinegar – it's the best of the best. With perfect bread, systems in place, spectacular employees and leaders who lead and don't pass the buck, Jimmy John's box rocks. The culture that was created in the restaurants is the same culture that drives the corporate office. "Make a deal, keep a deal" is the Golden Rule. Do it now – make it happen – be a go-getter, no excuses. Jimmy John's employees are the ordinary people doing extraordinary things. They want to be the best. They don't mind doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Their hustle is part of how they live their daily lives, and they enjoy the fruits of a hard-earned entrepreneurial lifestyle. Once again, Jimmy John's wants only the best for the best.
I agree with bobbylee; I was stunned when I saw that Jimmy Johns' was voted the best. It is more than annoying you either have to pay for all the toppings--or have none. I'm not big on vegetables and its ridiculous you have to pay $1 to have a little Italian dressing spread on your sandwich.
The bread is mediocre and you don't seem to get very much value for your meal. One positive this place has is their chips. Custom made for the chain, they are rather tasty. That however, is not enough for me to visit their establishment on my own.
The ingredients are legitimately tasty. The bread is fresh, and the sandwiches are done before you can even realize that the sandwich at the end is probably yours. The prices are reasonable, but a little steep for their target market of high school and college kids.
How in the world did this place win ????
They ONLY make subs "their way", you can't specify which toppings or dressings to pout on the sandwich. I had the driest tuna salad sub and
they have no area with condiments or napkins either. What a waste of time, they are more expensive and give less value than the normal sub shops. They will not be around long.
Customer service like no other Sub Shop! The sandwich has great tasting bread, and is larger than most other places. An abundance of toppings fill the sandwich and will leave you thinking of your next visit to Jimmy John's.
Employees and the Sandwich are.......
SIMPLY THE BEST!!
