Just For Kix is a program of precision dance team instruction that allows young people to experience the fun and rewards of dancing with a team. Along with skills and many dance styles, dancers learn cooperation, perseverance and team work. There are no auditions for classes which run once a week. We welcome novice as well as experienced dancers!!
Age appropriate costumes; Performances at various venues; program shows are free or minimally priced; shows do not limit the # of tickets per family; program includes boys and girls of all ages and sizes; teachers are enthusiastic; kids seam to love it; variety of classes available including special sessions such as father daughter dance which is my favorite to watch. Great program!
Jenny is passionate about teaching dance! Her attention to fun, age appropriate dance is a perfect fit for our family. It is affordable for us and a blast for the little one! We love this place!
JFK is a great program. I like that they have affordable uniforms and the kids get to wear them all year at performances around the community. They don't just practice all year for one recital. The kids love performing at college basektball games and at other community events. JFK has helped my daughter gain self confidence, she's made several great friendships and the instructors are positive role models. We'll keep coming back to JFK. Thanks Jenny! I disagree 100%. Jenny gives attention to all her students. It’s obvious she cares very much for her kids. Jenny offers quality dance instruction at an affordable price making it available for everyone.
Miss Jenny makes dancing fun and my 4 year old loves it! I also like that this program lets kids be kids and enjoy what they are doing. This program is affordable and it also gives the kids so many opportunities to perform. We will continue coming to Just For Kix next year!
I grew up dancing for Just For Kix in Decorah, Ia... and now have the experience being an Instructor in the Cedar Rapids area! I absolutely LOVE it! The children are wonderful, and soo eager to learn! They are doing a FANTASTIC job this year, and I cannot wait to watch many of them grow! This is my childs first year and she loves it. Jenny makes it so fun for her and now her younger sister wants to go now :) They have great rates and do many shows more than others.
My daughter has been in Just For Kix for six years. We have enjoyed watching the program triple every year. Jenny truly loves the children and is cleary passionate about dance. I feel the dances are all age appropriate and the attire is not what I would consider sexy, unlike most other uniforms I have seen. It is also a very affordable program for all families. the motto of doing your best is better than being the best is a perfect line for all children to learn and live by.
My daughter Raven loves Jenny's dance class. Jenny makes sure the girls get a variety of performances from year to year, including the Harlem Globetrotters Pre-Game this year! The rates are more than reasonable for the knowledge the girls obtain. Thanks Just For Kix & Jenny for offering such a fabulous program!
