What to say about Kalona Bakery?
Well, the word "bakery" in the dictionary is as follows:
"bakery (n.) pl. bak·er·ies
A place where products such as bread, cake, and pastries are baked or sold. Also called bakeshop."
If "Kalona Bakery" was in the dictionary, it would read:
"Kalona Bakery (n.)
A place to go to not only buy delicious baked goods made straight from the heart, but a place with a cozy atmosphere and magnificent service."
You should definately go there, it's exquisite. :)

This is an absolute must to visit when you go to Kalona! Great cinnamon rolls, cookies, pies, donuts, noodles, angel food cakes, sandwiches, potato salad....I could go on forever! Not to mention the great service you receive; very friendly and always helpful. I have friends that request me to send anything from the Kalona Bakery because they can't find anything like it where they are. Just an all around GREAT place to eat for whatever craving you have.
The only thing warmer than the unbelievable cinnamon rolls, is the service. Friendly, helpful, and just great folks to visit. I have yet to find another quaint shop where I can get fresh baked goods, breakfast, and lunch. I thought they had made a mistake in addingup my bill...WOW, what super low pricies and such good old fashioned qulaity! A must stop in Kalona!
