Since opening its doors in 1989, the Linn Street Cafe has set the fine-dining standard in Iowa City. We have created an eclectic culinary experience that brings flavors from around the world together with the best that the Midwest has to offer. We serve the finest cuts of choice Iowa meats. The freshest seafood flown in daily from the coasts. Seasonal produce, hand-picked when possible from local farmers' markets. Our servers are friendly and knowledgeable. This,along with the Purple Cow would be my most favorite restaurants in Iowa City area.This one is more of an ecclectic, fusion, continental restaurant rather than a typicalAmerican restaurant-any way,you classify it this is a great restaurant,goodfood, great service, good price for the type of food served. Only complaint is the noise.

Upscale dining on Linn Street. Next to Devotay. Definitely a notch or two above most cuisine in Iowa City. It's fine dining. Romantic place too.
