Since I was diagnosed three years ago with type IV cake addiction Olive and James have been there when I needed them. If you haven’t tried the cake yet, you need to step outside in the cold and think about what you have done. When you are done thinking, immediately go inside and put an order in for a cake. The Chocolate Mint Chiffon will change your religion while the Cookies & Cream will make you believe in a higher power.

Olive & James is IowaCity's best kept secret. I sampled so many cakes when I was planning my wedding and nothing compared to Olive & James cake. The frosting is simply out-of-this-world! If you are looking for a top-of-the-line cake made by a down-to-earth pastry chef then you need to check out Olive & James.
