I live in Elkader, and I usually stop there almost everyday before work to grab some breakfast. They have the best cinnamon rolls and the best long johns.

Pedretti's is the best ! I stop every weekend on my way to the river. They have the best cream horns around. Noone else can even come close!

I live in Elkader and enjoyed the bakery on the corner for over 50 years. Pedretti's Bakery and Elkader go hand in hand. It is the best and we are lucky to have a second and third generation continue on with all the wonderful treats.

Growing up in Elkader, I looked forward to Monday afternoons when my dad would pick my siblings and me up from school to make a special trip to the bakery. Glazed snails, frosted sugar cookies, blueberry donuts...it didn't matter, they were all great. I'm away from Elkader now, and have never found a bakery to satisfy my sweet tooth the way Pedretti's does. Everytime I visit Elkader with friends, I take them straight to Pedretti's to experience a true small town treasure!

The BEST! Undoubtedly the most delicious, quaint, wonderful bakery I've ever been to. It should be considered a land mark. Their double chocolate doughnuts are probably shipped to them from Heaven. You have to go!

Grew up in Elkader. My employment leads me around this country and I have never found a match for Pedretti's! Not even Panera Bread in Houston. It was worth cutting class for back then and it's worth driving home for today! My mom remembers it when she was a kid and I always will too. Leelah Ayers bought me my first sugar cookie and I was changed forever!!!

I live more than 2 hours from Pedretti's, but I'm always willing to make the trip to stock up on the world's best double-chocolate doughnuts and sugar cookies!

I HATE Pedretti's, especially when they close down for vacation in the summer. Thats when I go into long john withdrawals. Clayton County is lucky to have such an outstanding business. Keep up the good work Pedretti family!!!!

This bakery produces pastry which have the old time taste that I remember as a child. All their bakery items are high quality. They are the best in Clayton County.

One of the things I miss most about not living in Elkader anymore- thankfully my parents keep us stocked with provisions from Pedretti's on a regular basis. They've even created another generation of patrons by hooking my sons on Pedretti's gingerbread men and cake eggs! Keep up the good work Chris!

terrific...the pleasant valley high school girls basketball team calls it their favorite bakery--they even have the t shirts!!!...love the double chocolate donuts!!!!
