Expanding to Des Moines in 2008 - In 2008 Rock & Thunder DJs are opening a branch in Des Moines. So if you are having an event in or around the Des Moines Area in 2008 there is no extra charge for travel. Video Projection Equipment - Having a slide show or video presentation? Save time and money by renting our new projectors and screens. Rock & Thunder DJs have been listed Modern Bride Magazine 2 years in a row as one of the nation's top 150 DJ - the only DJ in Iowa to make the list. We have been in business since 1989 and we have provided entertainment for over 1,600 dances. We have never canceled an event. We have 5 main systems with light shows (as shown below) along with 3 alternate systems with reduced light shows. We bring backup equipment to every event. This should be a must for any DJ. Our main systems feature the same light shows, meaning we won't show you a picture of one system and show up with something entirely different. We now have alternate systems with reduced light shows available for small venues.

I photograph many weddings and I'm always
thrilled when I learn that Rock and Thunder
are going to be the D.J.'s at the wedding reception. They are courteous and professional...as well as alot of fun! They communicate well with the photographer and
the other vendors at the wedding reception to
make sure everything runs smoothly for the
bridal couple's special day!
