The mission of The Iowa Children's Museum is to inspire every child to imagine, create, discover and explore through the power of play.The museum serves this mission through interactive exhibits, engaging hands-on programs and community outreach. With an annual visitation of approximately 117,000 children and adults, The Iowa Children's Museum is one of the largest cultural attractions in Iowa. Over 28,000 square feet of interactive exhibits provide stimulating learning experiences designed primarily for children ages birth to twelve. The museum is committed to the principles of inclusion and serves a diverse audience. The Iowa Children's Museum is conveniently located at the Coral Ridge Mall and invites children and their families to play and learn in a place where all people are accepted and celebrated.

My son practically begs me to take him to the ICM. I love the Free Family Fun Nights that they have once a month. My son and I also love the new LEGO area...I think the last time we were there, we spent three hours just building away in there!

The Iowa Children's Museum is that rare place where kids rely on their curiously and imagination. Everything is hands-on...what a lovely place we have in Eastern Iowa. It's always clean, organized and well thought out...the exhibits change so frequently it's impossible to get bored! Way to Go ICM!
