Among the region's largest and longest-operating community theaters, Theater Cedar Rapids is located in the magnificently refurbished Iowa Theater in the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During the September to July season, more than 600 volunteers and 9 full-time staff work together to create an ambitious lineup of musicals, comedies, dramas and classics in addition to providing theater education programs for all ages.

Great shows! Cedar Rapids has amazing talent -- just stop in sometime and see a show -- you'll be very impressed. And don't forget the 2nd Season shows, they're a perfect offering if you want to see some real talent outside the mainstream programs ...

there is such a devoted staff and a wonderful group of volunteers that make the theatre what is it. All of these people will do whatever it is to get the word out about tcr and to make each and every experience special and one to remember. There is incredible talent whether it be a persons first show or 20th show!

I really enjoy going to an evening of affordable and entertaining events. The local talent is wonderful. With the downtown restaurants now available, it makes for a truly enjoyable evening.
