Welcome to the Third Base Brewery, Cedar Rapids' First and Only Brewery since Prohibition! Why do they call it 'Happy Hour' when it lasts for 3 hours? What's the deal with all the other hours...aren't they happy? If "Happy Hours" are so great, wouldn't "Ecstatic Hours" be even greater? We get questions like this all the time, and we've got to tell you, you ask weird questions and your grammar sucks. What doesn't suck is our specials. Like our Happy Hour, which runs from 4pm to 7pm every Monday, and Tuesday, also on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. That's 3 whole hours each day for 5 days, which is like a whopping 15 hours every week (about 900 minutes...or somewhere in the neighborhood of 54,000 seconds...now you know.). We could also tell you about our daily lunch specials. Yep, we got 'em. Come 'n get 'em. You might be interested in our Kids Eat Free deal on certain days. Ask your server.
