What a deal -- a great value, excellent service, & personalized welcome (usually by the owner himself.) With places like this, who needs those big, commercial chains?
A little bit of Chicago, the Weenie is a unique establishment. The food is great Prices are low. You never leave hungry. Depending upon who helps you the service can be excellent or like a the Soup Nazi from Seinfield. That is part of the thrill of going there. You have to see it & taste it to believe it.

There are good pizzas in Linn Co. But, there is only one great pizza, Tomaso's "world headquarters" on Center Point Rd. in Cedar Rapids. The quality is outstanding. The service is terriffic. The environment is quaint. When we have friends or family from out of town, we often take them to Tomasso's. Including some in the food service & hospitality industries in Denver & Nashville, they are impressed & want to come back. Tomasso's is a treasure, the next best thing to pizza in Chicago.
