Great service and a good menu; it is noisy though. Sea Bass is good, but it was much smaller than I remembered.

The best Italian is Giavanni's in Iowa City. Great atmosphere and menu.

Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Cafe

Carlos O'Kelly's is not bad...but sort of high priced. After all it's a chain. For a local great Mexican spot that didn't even get on the list, it's Villa's Patio in Marion. Now that's authentic and reasonable Mexican food. And tons of margaritas to choose from.

BBQ THis is pretty good, but if you haven't eaten at Al & Irene's...it's a local best. Not a chain. They have the best beef ribs, chicken, beans, and side dishes in town. They should've gotten No. 1~!
