Went to their website and chose 3 different buttons for menus,prices...and all that popped up was a website for DVD sales. They need to clean up the site if they want people to see what they have.
Either that or it is a phony sales website.

Went there 3 days ago with 2 friends.I had ribs-we all agreed were great!not just good! The only complaint...and i have this with most BBQ joints...not enough meat on the ribs! For 19$ a rack should fill up even this big carcus..I also had a brisket sandwich and it was pretty good too..even though I like mine a little less cooked and sliced..I threw some cole slaw on it for a Razorback sandwich and it hit the spot!
The other 2 had the beans and they were split as to as to good or bad.the one who said they were good is the more believable of the two.
Washed it down with some Sam Adams and it was well worth getting up for breakfast for me!
Don't let the place fool you..the food is what you go for and it almost as good as Jimmy Jacks :-)

P.S.-the sauce is pretty tame in spicy...and that is good.the house sauce is rather bland..but then I am a big fan of Texas BBQ.

"I have heard of Al & Irenes since I moved here 6yrs ago.I could not get a spot to park every time I tried to go there and I thought that was a good indication of a good place to eat.It seems it is just a convient place for some. My friend who kept lauding the praises of this BBQ place took me there one Saturday or Sunday about 6pm. The pork sandwich was pretty good..but the waitress brought me a glass of tea and had stuck her finger in it!I ordered a beer and asked her to leave the top on so I could have a drink without a digit inserted.I know it sounds trivial..but it is something i just can't stand."

BBQ this just did not have the smokey flavor..the intenseness..that others have.
It is a nice, clean BBQ place. But average for a BBQ place with the prices to boot.
I apologize for my earlier comments to Al&Irenes being posted here by mistake

Been there...done that.Did not want the "T" shirt.Over priced considering it is about the same as a TV dinner BBQ.The sausage is good. The meat does taste like it is fresh compared to the other BBQ shops in the area that have meat that seems like left overs.
Service was decent

I am from Texas...and I have been to many BBQ places from north to south and east to west as a truck driver.there is a lot of great BBQ out there..but Jimmy Jacks is the BEST here in this area!I love South Carolina style..and Memphis style...and Kansas City style is my favorite outside of Texas..( I wish somebody would do BBQ beef ribs).
The 1st time I went to Jimmy Jack's I had a pork sandwich basket to try it.I was so impressed I bought 60$ worth of ribs and chicken to bring home.
Being a cook who could reproduce anything I wanted at home..BBQ is different. It takes a proper combination to get it right and Jimmy Jack's is the best in the 50 mile area I have found.
P.S.- I do not work for Jimmy Jacks. But i would if I could just to get the employee meal discount..if they have one!

I have to say they have the best fajitas in the area!

I like the food here-but the service is so bad.I do not like having someone hover over me...but I have walked out without paying-just leaving some cash on the table-because we could not find anybody. They will leave you sitting, and sitting...
