Hecky darn! Scrapbooking got First place. Any kindergartener can do that stuff. I'll bet they couldn't produce the true arts and crafts your customers and friends do.
Congratulations on Second place.
Rosemary always has a friendly smile for everyone. If she doesn't have it, she always finds it for you. And being greeted by Millie is always a treat. D Cooper
The Village Needlework is the friendliest place in the city. Rosemary is so helpful and is always given back to the community with all the various community prijects that are supported throough her shop. I always feel at home there if I am cross stitching or knitting
Rosemary is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable. Anything that you want to know - she can help with. If she doesn't know herself, she will find someone that does. It's a great shop! And, meeting Millie is a MUST!
I visit the shop when in CR visiting my Mom. It's a great place to browse, find "must haves" for your stash and visit. Love it! Keep up the great work!
Visiting Village Needlework is a delightfully friendly experience. Rose Mary is always welcoming and eager to fill my needlework needs.
I also notice a gathering of friends, usually stitching or completing projects to be given to hospitals or nursing homes in the area. That speaks to Rose Mary's generosity and sense of community.
I live out of town and when I need something specific I know that I can find it at the Village Needlework. If they don't carry it they will find it for you. Pat Jones
I'm a new crossstitcher and when I go to the Village Needlework to get my question answered, Rosemary and her staff are alway helpful,
She makes time to sit down and show me how .
It has a fun atmosphere I always have a hard time leaving.
What a fun place to pop into! The staff is always knowledgable and eager to please. Lessons on everything and a cute dog besides. Cheers to Village Needlework!
I love the casual, yet professional approach at the Village Needlework. Regardless of an artisan's questions or problems, the staff is always willing to be of assistance. The shop fills a need in Cedar Rapids for fine handwork supplies and classes. Besides all that, it has a fun atmosphere and the folks love to smile!
Rosemary has been a wonderful help to me with my URGENT cross stitch situation for my sister's 50th wedding anniversary. I don't know what I would have done without her. Great place to browse and gab!-Thanks Again Rosemary and I'll be seeing you soon-Candace
Village Needlework is exactly what is missing in this WalMart world of ours. A place where you are remembered and customer service is not a quaint note from history. We used to know our grocer, our druggist, our hardware man. Now the stores are all under one roof and no one cares who you are. Small shops like this give a city it's own identity. You can go to the WalMart anywhere. Village Needlework is a destination only in Cedar Rapids.
