At dinner, our menu is divided into five sections: “Nibble” is a collection of unusual snack-type items suitable for sitting at the bar or table. “Begin” includes an array of tempting starters. “Reminisce” offers familiar favorites in new ways. “Experience” is a showcase for our creativity. “Indulge” presents a range of fun desserts for only $2 each!
It is a close call between Cibo Fusion, Blend, & Zins. Zins gets the nod for a unique approach to more appropriate portion size & menu selection. Plus they consistently provide service exceeding expectations. Try it, you'll love it!
It's so nice to have an alternative to the same old chain restaurants! What a great place and so affordable!
This is fine cuisine at it's best! We celebrated my husband's birthday at Zin's and loved it. I had the goat cheese & crab empanadas and the lobster cheesecake. Both were outstanding! And the desserts were delicious.

fantastic experience! the mac and cheese was out of this world and our server, jessie, was attentive and welcoming. great addition to the city! can't wait to visit again!
The staff was very accommadating when we and they had a mixup in our reservations. The service, food and wine was wonderful. A lot of people don't understand the concept that you don't just order an appetizer and an entree, you are expected to order several items to share or not share. The desserts were superb! 4 thumbs up for Courtney! And ditto to Andrew for his understanding and helping to make sure that our dining experience took place.
The dining concept at Zins is long over due for Cedar Rapids. We no longer need to go to Iowa City, Davenport or Chicago for great food, atmosphere & service.
Zins will take some getting use to for the traditional "stuff your face, sandwich chain & go" crowd that has long been a tradition in this town.

i was recently there with a group for a celebration and it exceeded my every expectation and then some!! the dining room is lovely, the valet parking is welcome addition to downtown but it was the service & the food that blew me away. having been a career waitress i can be very particular about trhe details and i wanted for nothing. courtney was delightful, the busboy was quick & polite and the management & owner were welcoming, present & even helped deliver our dessert! my guests were all first time visitors as well, some local & some from chicago, and we all raved about the experience for the rest of the evening. thanks again for such a nice evening.
there food beats anything in town. I loved the lobster cheesecake. I cannot wait to go back. Oh yeah, the prices where unbelieveable cheap and the wine list was great.
